The name "Ningle" comes from a fictional forest spirit appearing in Kuramoto's stories. The terrace consists of a series of charming wooden cottages connected by elevated wooden walkways through a forest setting.
Each cottage houses a unique artisan workshop or boutique selling handmade products such as candles, woodcrafts, glass art, leather goods, jewelry, and local souvenirs. Many items are created by local artists and cannot be found elsewhere.
